Fahmiyya and Her Nephew Still Need Treatment for 2006 Wounds

Fahmiyya is now 21 years old. In 2006, she was sleeping when an explosion injured her, killed her brother, his wife and one of their children and injured another.

Fahmiyya Needs Treatment for 2006 Wounds

Fahimiyya’s nephew is now 8 years old. The 5 pieces of iron from the explosion remain in his head. His small size prevents an operation. He suffers from chronic, painful headaches.
Fahmiyya came to Jordan in 2007. She has 24 operations, and she continues to need more. She is not able to eat solid food. She has lost her voice and one eye.
