One serious problem for Iraqis in Jordan is being elderly and without family. Ra’uf has been in Jordan since 2005 without family. Recently, he fell, causing a cerebral hemorrhage. Fortunately, he was taken to the hospital, and now he is taking the rehabilitation course. Even so, it is hard for him to maintain his house, especially the kitchen. It is a dangerous situation, as he could fall again at any time. He is trying to learn English. He recently scored 30 out of 30 on a homework assignment.
