Mahaasin’s Work as a Domestic Isn’t Enough for Her 6 Children

Mahaasin’s husband was killed in 2007. She has 6 children. When she arrived in Jordan in 2011, she immediately visited a Jordanian refugee assistance organization to ask for a job. Through this organization, Mahaasin began working as a domestic worker. She worked from early morning until evening, earning 10 JD. She had to pay transportation from this 10 JD. Unfortunately, she did not receive the wages that she was promised. She could not feed her family. She called us to ask for help. As you see from her pictures, she lacks many things. She needs a refrigerator, TV and carpets. There is not even a light in the kitchen.
