Only 26 and living in his aunt’s basement, he had no idea what to do. How Kirk kind of succeeded spectacularly and failed spectacularly at the same time.

Aziz Needs a Special Shoe

In August of 2007, a militia sent Aziz a threatening letter. After 3 days, militia members came to his home and shot his leg. At the time, he was the only man in the home. The militia members told him and the women that if they did not move, the militia would kill all of them the next time.

Aziz’s family moved to another city in Iraq.

Aziz came to Jordan for his treatment. He still need special shoes which cost 70-100JD. The relief works are hopeful that they can help.

One day, he entered his car and a bomb planted by a militia immediately ignited.

He suffered serious burns across his whole body, especially his leg.

Doctors recommended amputation, but he refused.
